Meet with Washington Senators' Staff in Downtown Seattle
Senator Murray's office sent out an email today with info on tomorrow's open office times. They're encouraging folks to attend.
Jackson Federal Building, 915 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
Tues, Feb. 8 @ 12pm and again at 1pm
Richard Lazaro, Seattle Metropolitan Director for U.S. Senator Patty Murray writes:
"Good afternoon!
"Thank you so much again for visiting the Jackson Federal Building last week and spending some time chatting with Dayna, Nataly, and me. I’ve heard from many of you by e-mail in the week since that meeting and am so grateful to be able to pass your input along to the Senator and her team.
"Great to hear that Indivisible affiliates are organizing another visit to our offices tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb 7)—certainly no shortage of things to discuss! Senator Cantwell’s Outreach Director, Tommy, and I will be available for two meetings, beginning at 12:00 and 1:00 in the same large conference room we used last week. We’re working with security to allow as many folks as possible into each of these meetings, and I’d guess we end up with between 50 and 75 folks in each. Please coordinate attendance directly with Indivisible organizers / chairpeople; unfortunately our offices don’t have the capacity to help determine who makes it into the room. While we regret we won’t be able to meet with everybody tomorrow, we’ll keep trying to expand capacity for future Tuesdays.
"Anything you can do to help spread this message to others visiting the building tomorrow would be very much appreciated! Thank you, sincerely, for your time, effort, and passion. It honestly makes a difference in the fight."
Richard
